Dan is an experienced and dedicated Production Manager who has worked on numerous shows and events across London and the UK. Throughout his career Dan has undertaken technical roles across multiple disciplines, making him highly adept at understanding the various needs and pressures on different departments, balancing these to create the best work possible.

Dan graduated from Durham University with a Masters in Engineering in 2015, and whilst there spent two years as president of one of the largest theatre societies in the UK, Durham Student Theatre, with over 700 members, 70 shows produced each year and around 26 theatre companies. Alongside this he took on the management and development responsibility for the 175-seat Assembly Rooms Theatre, looking after not only the university shows but also numerous external theatre companies.

When moving to London Dan spent three years in the corporate world working for Transport for London as an Advisor to the Director of Public Transport and then as Innovation Advisor, creating and shaping the Commercial Innovation team, working with some of the biggest transport start-ups on TfL’s behalf, and creating the Award-winning London RoadLab. Leaving TfL and taking his people and project management skills with him, Dan went full-time freelance and has worked on productions at venues including the Charing Cross Theatre, Park Theatre, Yard Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, Southwark Playhouse, and Trafalgar Studios. Dan has also worked on numerous fringe festivals, including Deputy Head of Lighting for The Warren at the Brighton Fringe Festival, Festival Production Manager for both the Durham Drama Festival and Durham Festival of the Arts.

Dan prides himself on his dedication and delivery, and works hard to ensure that the best possible production is delivered time after time, as many of his previous clients will attest to. Having worked at many different scales and budgets he knows intuitively what can be achieved and how much it will cost, and is always able to advise on how best to spend to ensure the best looking and running production. He is also highly adept at working with numerous stakeholders to deliver all aspects of a production.
